It's that time of year again! Time for us to give thanks by preparing and serving full turkey dinners to all of our clients (plus a few new ones). We are still accepting turkey sponsorships ($32 a bird) to support our purchase of local, free-range, happy turkeys. Shifts start tonight (Monday the 15th) and run through next Monday evening. We will be serving The Children's Home (6 cottages! about 120 kids), Azalea Terrace Senior Apartments, AIDS Care services (2 groups homes), and Prodigals Community. Homemade stuffing
Cranberry Sauce
Homemade Pumpkin Cookies
Green Bean Casserole
Gravy
Scalloped Potatoes
Yummmmm. We guarantee it is (almost) as fun and "filling" to prepare these meals as to eat them, come out volunteer! Also, if you don't have time for a cooking or delivery shift, we still really need volunteers for our M-F Fresh Market Produce Rescue shifts from 4-6pm! Just show up in Benson 506 at 4pm and join a shift!
